I'm the girl behind the camera, and the one who will get really excited on your wedding day! I've always been a sentimental person. The kind who saves the little things because "I'll want to remember this someday." That's probably why photography found me in the first place.
I love the pretty things of course - the flowers, the dress, the beautiful light - but I'm really there for everything underneath it all. The way your husband looks at you when you aren't paying attention. Your mom trying not to cry. Your friends losing their minds on the dance floor. The tiny details you spent months planning.
That's what makes this more than taking pictures for me.
My work is deeply rooted in my faith. I'm incredibly grateful that I get to create art, serve people, and preserve pieces of their stories. I never want to take that for granted.
why this matters to me
I think becoming a wife and a mom made me understand photography in a completely different way.
There are moments in our lives that feel ordinary while we’re living them, and then somehow years later, they’re the moments we’d give anything to experience again.
A tiny hand wrapped around your finger.
Your baby’s face before it changes again.
The way your husband looks at you when no one is watching.
You don’t realize you’re living the memories you’ll one day miss.
That’s why I photograph the way I do.
I want to preserve the things that time can’t.
Because I know how much it means to have photographs of the people you love, not just looking at the camera, but being themselves, together, in a season you’ll never get back.
And when you look at those photographs years from now, I hope they don’t just remind you what it looked like.
I hope they remind you what it felt like to be there.
